Sweden To Be Oil-Free In 14 Years
Treehugger is reporting that the 'Minister for Sustainable Development Mona Sahlin has declared that Sweden is going to become the first country in the world to break the dependence on fossil energy.'

Sweden's hope is to have all of the country's energy supplied by only renewable resources, ridding the country of cars that run on gasoline and oil-heated homes.

Is this a play for the economic value of 'Peace In The Middle East.' A Good idea never-the-less. Without huge government subsidies, and a 80% tax bracket, this would never be possible.
