The final goal of this project is the mass production of a semiconductor for quantum communications based on microcavity structures with quantum entangled active regions.
I don't know about putting it out on the internet pre-patent but hopefully it'll be covered under prior art status. I have to admit that most of the work has allready been done by others. I can hardley belive this hasn't hit the market yet. Maybe its a conspiracy.HAHA...
Certainly an interesting read. The true question to ask is how much more money would be required to set up a plant not only dedicated to LED production, but also to set-up a 'production line' for quantum ions. The molecular beam epitaxy is a proven technology but monetary requirements are great.
And just how much can these thing cost and be profitable?
