Former president Carter is an embarrassment
"Former President Carter said Saturday the detention of terror suspects at the Guantanamo Bay Naval base was an embarrassment and had given extremists an excuse to attack the United States."

Lets reviews His works:

"Let our position be absolutely clear: an attempt by any outside force to gain control of the Persian Gulf region will be regarded as an assault on the vital interests of the United States of America. And such an assault will be repelled by any means necessary, including military force."

Hmmm. Soviets in Persian Gulf region bad, Islamofacist not? He does acknowledge the power in "the vast majority of nations on Earth agreeing", and acts "violate the moral and the legal standards of a civilized world" its just too bad his solution, his "severe price", his " moving away from confrontation" is nothing but an "if possible" please.

Somehow I think a leader needs to lead in actions not in treaties. Treaties I might add the Soviets walked all over. But we all know Reagan fixed that problem, he was forced to fix a lot of Carter's problems. Its up to the legacy of Reagan to fix the rest.
